New Neighbors. I knew I had bought a house in the right neighborhood when my new next-door neighbors walked up the hill to meet me at 9:00 am on a Sunday morning with a six-pack on ice as a house-warming gift! |

Party Idea. Send invitations to all your beer-drinking friends and ask them to find the most unusual beer they can and bring a six-pack of it to the party. Buy a nice cooler and put some ice in it and put it in a place of honor. As the guests arrive take one beer from each six-pack of unusual beer they brought and place it in the new cooler. Once everyone has arrived have a vote on each beer to see who has heard of or seen it. Tally the votes and whoever brought the beer with the least votes wins the cooler and all the beer inside. Tie breaker: have the tied party goers play a beer drinking game you learned in college – quarters would be my choice (the game can be without beer or you can drive the winner home). |
